Re: The Great CMS Experiment
Haha - I should have looked into php v7.0 a bit more. It isn't compatible with the PHPBB3 software. Thankfully it is pretty easy to downgrade it again. I also was lucky that the forum is on a separate sub-domain so I can run a newer php version on the main website. Anyway. We are now upgraded to ver...

Re: The Great CMS Experiment
I am also in the process of updating the back end stuff to later versions. The version of php has now increased to v7.0 hopefully bringing with it more security enhancements and speed bumps. Enjoy this tech geek announcement!

The Great CMS Experiment
Hello everyone I haven't been posting for a while but I have been slowly working in the background to update my website away from iWeb to an online content management system. iweb was a very good bit of software published by Apple. It has been slowly being phased out for a couple of years. Therefore...

Re: DnD Classics
The website has also created a 'library' of my purchases so I have a backup option should my computer break in some (hopefully distant) future!

Re: DnD Classics
I have decided to download DA2 - Temple of the Frog and L3 - Deep Dwarven Delve to continue our adventure. For the bargain price of £6.50 I managed to get two very high quality PDFs which were watermarked with my name and order number. Presumably this was to minimise the chance of people sharing the...

DnD Classics
I found this website where you can download old PDF versions of AD&D first edition modules. DnD Classics Amazingly large portfolio! A number of download sites have recently gone 'offline' as these licensed sites become more popular. I guess that TSR decided to make some money from their back cat...

Re: Broadband speeds
It isn't too bad
I have just moved to sky broadband fibre.

This is about 3 times faster than my O2 'normal' broadband. Since I live about 1 mile from the exchange I think that my figures are slightly better than the average.

Re: Welcome to the updated Forum
I have been pulled away from computers by the gals but I will try and update it later.
To be honest I think we should update ADAPS website too, doesn't seem to be any reason not to!

Re: Welcome to the updated Forum
I have looked into it and there is a maximum width set on the standard forum 'theme' of 1152px. I suppose we could experiment with amending this value to see if it makes any difference.
Should I update your website so we can try it?
I almost never use 'full screen' windows on my mac.

Re: Welcome to the updated Forum
I have increased the image sizes to 1mb and set at forum maximum uploads of 250mb.
I am a bit puzzled by the 'narrower' comment, could you post a screen grab?
