Re: Snow Watch

Re: Music

No shame in Blink-182. They were actually a pretty decent poppy-punk band (Travis is a MASSIVELY underrated drummer- youtube soldja boy :-0 ). In a similar punk vein, and following on from me rediscovering the fact that bass guitar is WAY better than "normal" guitar. I've been listening to...

Re: Cool websites

BL00DY HELL! I'd forgotten just how GOOD Nirvana were!

What have you all been listening to?

Re: In the News

Dictionaries banned from school after kids look up definitions of "rude" words. How many times a day were you told as a child to "go look it up" when asking your parents annoying questions? For me it was LOTS, where did the habit of doing research to fill in the gaps in my knowl...

Ambidextrous kids more likely to suffer mental problems. I'm almost totally ambidextrous and see it as a huge plus. (The only thing I do exclusively with my right hand is writing). Its especially handy when you've got an injury to one hand. I've *twitch* not *twitch* got *twitch* any *twitc...

Re: In the News

We need a rich United supporters club to buy them out. Thats more or less what I thought... We all KNOW that all United supporters live in London and eat lots of prawn sandwiches... surely a few of them could put their stockbroker bonuses in together and buy the club? ;-) Disclaimer: These comments...

At the risk of Al spontaneously combusting... this cannot be considered a desirable state of affairs for a British icon. Love them or loathe them, United ARE a huge asset to the country in global terms.
