Very comic book, but stylish and offering some real dialogue, not just mindless action.

A very surprising gem.

I watched it on sky last week and thru the fog of pain and painkillers and it was still very very good.

just ordered this on dvd and was interested to note the author of the original graphic novel [moore i think his name is] doesn't think much of the flim and has dismissed it.

His name is Alan Moore. He also co-wrote the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Kevin O'Neill.
