Little Miss Sunshine

Post by Mike »

This is a charming little film about a girl who manages to get entry to a LA beauty pageant for the ages 7-11. The tale follows the family as they stumble and fluff from unhappyness in their own town to a upbeat and happy ending. It is a charming film and very lovely.

4S

Can we get some half-star ratings available, Mike? This was a great feel-good film, didn't have any crazy plot-line or anything, but well acted.

I'm torn between the two, as I'm not sure about the re-watch value.

Which sodding post were you mean to me on? Have I just not read it yet!?

Ah, the Hairy Plotter post (thank you, Firefox tabbed browsing). Damn straight you're finding some half stars now. Rabble rabble.

I watched this last Friday night and had a goofy grin on my face the whole time. A real feel-good movie without being clichéd and sappy. The granddad character in particular is excellent, no wonder Alan Arkin won an Oscar! I'll give it 4S
