How Unlucky can one car be?

Post by Mike »

It is one thing to have an accident on the Motorway during rush hour. It can easilly happen, the car in front breaks sharply as it reaches traffic, you break sharply and bump! The person behind you has slid into the back of your boot.

Well a certain driver and Red vehicle was really, really unlucky yesterday. Jane and I were driving up to Morecambe for a meeting and on the other side of the motorway a red car had been sandwiched between two huge construction waste disposal vehicles. It appeared that the front lorry had been stationary, the car broke sharply and then the lorry to the rear plowed right into the back. Given the weight differentials it was equivalent to being sandwiched between two immovable objects.

I felt really sorry for the person in the car and more so for the relatives.
