Nokia 6310i Review

Post by Mike »

This is an golden oldie of the Business world. It is a very clear phone with a strong reception. The battery life has been average to date but will see if that improves. There are reports it will last 17 days which would be very impressive.

In all I like this as a good, simple phone. It feels like a huge step down from my previous phone an N70 which was to be fair, imperfect! I miss the advanced features, in particular the ability to sync my calendars with the work computer. . . .

It would probably benefit from a full overnight charge. It had not been used for months, and when I switched it on there was still life in the battery. It's only had about a one hour charge.

It may not be pretty, but it is highly functional.

The phone under normal use lasted from 6:30am on Friday 7 September 2007 until 14:30 on Sunday 16 September. So it can last 9 days and about 8 hours. Not bad, we will have to see how long this one lasts now! :D

They don't build 'em like they used to. In my day they didn't have all this fancy clap-trap to access the tinternet but by gum, they lasted and it did the job I bought it for!
