Know your world!
Try this little game where you have to try and guess where different cities are on a map. You get points for being close to the city and if you get sufficient points then you are able to progress to the next round. So far I have only managed to get to round 4 (for shame!). How far can you all get?

There is a good reason that we're rubbish at Pub Quiz when you're not around Claire...I got to Level 5 on my first go, which I was reasonably happy with...not sure about my knowledge of Africa or the Far East though!

Re: Know your world!
I suppose we should have a prize for the first person to reach level 12 and complete the game. Upload a screen shot of the final screen and score to claim your prizes!

Re: Know your world!
I think you should just give the prize straight to Claire...I can't get past Level 7. Which frankly is good for me!

Re: Know your world!
I got a slightly lower score than Claire after about five or six attempts, then it started asking for locations in Africa and it all went pear-shaped. *goes to swot up on Africa*

Well, I can't get beyond level 11 and about 480,000 points. Who cares where random towns are in Russia!? And those islands that are so small you can't actually see them on the map!?
On the plus side, I now know all the countries in South and Central America and about 20 from North and West Africa, plus their relative locations. Not to mention the 12 (?) countries that have land borders with Russia. I was trying out some mnemonic techniques, and they may have worked (ask me in a few months)...I might try to learn all the countries as a sort of personal challenge. Fun all the way!
