Post by Mike »

The BBC are reporting on a self repairing rubber material. How cool is that? It would have been amazing for the concessions building morecambe!

I think it would come down to who has the longest or thickest - ie longest knife or thickest vest! :-0

I guess so, I wasn't specifically thinking knife wounds- but I bet a rubber layer would be more comfortable for the cops than the vests they currently use. If it repairs automatically the vest wouldn't be compromised after one incident.
I was still thinking about tyres/intubes- I've got loads of small puncture wounds/tears in my tyres from glass shards. It'd be great for waterproofing things too- self healing roofing?

I feel the exclamation mark at the end of your topic heading beautifully concludes why we will be always remain friends but yet retain different interests.

One question that has to be asked about this, and I have deliberated about asking about this for sooo long. Condoms - Can the same formula be used on them so they don't split?
