Activision Blizzard!

Post by Mike »

This BBC article has announced the tie up between Activision and Blizzard! They are worth a combined £9bn which is an amazing amount of money. I suspect that one of the main assets of this is the nine million subscribers to WoW and the Guitar Hero franchise.

I wonder if they are going to produce a new masterpiece (blizzard is well on its way to becoming a one hit wonder) with WoW (though I am not knocking its amazing stranglehold on the industry). :D

It's an interesting move, Blizzard are obviously interested in breaking into the console market, which could be interesting. WoW on the Wii maybe?

Well, if Mike was really desperate he could set up a hidden forum where everyone except Lizzie had access, but that might be construed as mean...

That's sure a lot of users for WoW... probably needs one of those infamous coal-fired power plants just to run the server farm.

mr_e you promised you would not mention 'The Den' in a public forum. I am shocked that you have broken the sacred bond of trust!

Mike- you know you can't keep secrets from me as witnessed by your lack being able to keep christmas presents a secret. Plus, you're just not a devious person I'm glad to say! :-D
