Tomb Raider Underworld

Post by Mike »

I am so behind the times with the Tomb Raider franchise! They are going to release a new game in November 2008 called Tomb Raider Underworld. The trailer is pretty good, it flies though an explosion backwards (ie seeing everything go back together) and then ends with Lara blowing up her family estate and walking off! Depending on how I get on with Anniversary I may just buy that one too! :-D

A real life Lara Croft has been unveiled in the run up to the November 2008 release of Tomb Raider Underworld. In Yahoo!'s words
Yahoo! wrote:That's Alison Carroll, the all-new meat-based Lara Croft. Be nice to her, she's going to get quite a lot of stick off the internet before the end of the year, when Tomb Raider: Underworld comes out and she's binned off to the ex-models home with all the rest.

Alison - who's currently single! Wahey! Get in there! And so on - was plucked from the obscurity of life as a receptionist in Croydon, with the lucky lady following in the footsteps of Nell McAndrew, Rhona Mitra and several other Lara models we literally cannot remember the names of.

Our verdict? Nice. Attainable. Realistic. Not quite as aloof and model-like in appearance as previous pretend Laras. You can easily put yourself in plenty of imaginary situations with her. Which is the point.
Oh and there is a video on the link above too so you can watch her gymnast away around the room and her 'sultry' pouting and gun thrusting at the cameras.
