fake macros

As I have been off ill today I have been geeking out at the weird world of fake macro's. Basically this is a fairly simple photoshop procedure to make photos of real things look like macro photos of models of real things.

Very interesting, but what an odd thing to want to do...

Well. There are two ways to post an image. 1 is to right click on the image in the article, then select properties and copy the image URL from the box and paste it between two img tags that should look like this. (Mac - You right click and select 'Copy Image Address' then complete the rest of the steps)

If you have your own image then you need to upload it to a service like Photobucket or Facebook (anywhere where you can copy the image address and then repeat the other options above. Simple? I thought so.

Commercial use wise I have seen a few landrover adverts that have used this technique. Unfortunately I can't find em on line so I will scan them and upload them over the weekend.

The Phelps image is great. I like the way you can see the ceiling of the building in the reflections on the water too. The Image 5 is good, it really does seem like a subbuteo pitch!
