American Army Official Game?!. First time I have ever heard of this one. Weird but oddly not surprising. The Official Website (which looks slightly crap).

In short, it's designed by the US Military and distributed... for free. Which is why it's pretty popular. Being overly cynical, it's almost certainly being used as a recruitment tool as well, as the "real heroes" link on the main page shows.

I did not realise that it was free. . . . I wonder if it works on a Mac. Not that I am going to join the marines though.

It's okay, I don't think joining the marines is in the terms and conditions. The bad news is that it's a long download if you choose that option, and they don't support Macs at all.

Still no way I'm downloading it, even though it is free.

It won't take that long surely how big a download is it. I don't think the old laptop will run it but I will try it (wireless, large downloads - that is going to be fun!).
