When is a cost saving really not worth it?
BBC example where a man fixed his blow up bed with a solvent based tyre repair kit. On inflating the air bed a spark from the electric pump cased the bed to ignite blowing a hole in his flat and causing €20,000 of damage.

When a contractor buys a concrete structure from company A, saves £5k by moving the concrete stairs to company B and it ends up costing £20k more in co-ordination complications.
