I like the principle but I don't think that rainbows generally go through trees. . . . it would be improved by fading the rainbow behind the tree (or missing it entirely).

All in all 4s for the idea.

I don't think it's so much the fact the rainbow's hitting the tree, just the way only half of it is and the rest is disappearing behind the hill... kind of messes with my depth perception. Something subtle is also nagging me that I can't put my figure on, possibly to do with saturation or values (could easily be intentional or my dodgy monitor though).

That's nitpicking a bit though, otherwise I like it.
