I too have the seasonal snivvles but alas was out on the work do on Friday night supping Theakstons. Not wanting to set toungues wagging I have forced my lumbering body in and I am attempting to teach which is hard enough at the best of times but when one's throat feels like it is getting stabbed repeatedly by a razor blade then it is a little more difficult.

John's work insists on partners coming and, if they do, they have to be paid for. Unfortunatly the place was scally ville and the food was fatty! I was also was a bit tired.

For those who cannot infer and deduce, how did the evening go?

Amelia saw her first Christmas tree fully decorated: 7 December 2009.

Lizzie brought home the tree to cheer me up yesterday when I was ill!

First dodgy link to random school-based related media output. I give you this pearl of joy by Emma ''I'm watching Blade Runner next'' To which we all voiced our surprise at both the film but also the genre. In response she defended it by saying ''They're going Ice Skating on Friday.'''

Yes but as it's Xmas then no. The whole context behind the quote would need to be stated but I can't be arsed so there's only probably Claire who would know what I mean about SLT's scrooge-like view on DVD entertainment at the end of December. In case you're wondering, I've not watched one yet with the operative word obviously being 'yet'!

The shame is all yours. I did think that but I decided not to make a reference to it.
