£3m to hide eyesore
£3m spent on sculpture to hide a street deemed an eyesore. Is it me or would this money have been better spent on improving the street rather than putting a bandage on it?!

The 'leaves' are designed to 'gently sway'...hmm...sounds a bit 'B of the Bang'-ish to me. Eyecatching sculpture erected before a major international event which subsequently falls to pieces and has the potential to injure passers-by. Do they ever learn?
Bulldozing that shopping centre and starting again would be a better idea!

Nothing says "romance" like a kidnapped injured woman!
