I have been looking for Car Insurance Quotes recently and have had a couple of interesting ones. The values seem to vary between £320 and £670. Aviva (the most expensive) rang me earlier and asked if I wanted to proceed. I told them my chosen quote (£360) and they just said.

Interestingly the Direct Line, Tesco and Hastings Direct were very competitive. Halifax were coming in at £460 and refused to price match so after 3 years I am sorry to say that the business has gone elsewhere. There was not discussion regarding the price either, it was just;

I wonder if this is because they are making such business losses at the moment they need to recoupe some of their margins from Insurance. After everyone deserts in droves I imagine it will cause them some problems.
