The Forgotten City of Al-Arin

Post by johnriley1uk »

I wrote this in 2001, and finally it is up for downloading as a PDF file from www.dragonsfoot.org

A lot of people have worked on the technicalo side of getting this to web and I'm delighted to have it there now as the Featured Download.

Well done! I think that it look fabulous. I bet you are really pleased. I somehow don't think that we are high enough level to be able to complete this adventure yet though.

Mr. Riley,

Your website lists using these forums as the only way to contact you, so here I am.

I just wanted to commend you on your extremely well done module.

I recently completed a series of posts about Gary Gygax's WG4 The Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun.
http://lordofthegreendragons.blogspot.c ... art-1.html
While it begins as a study looking for symbols in the text and hoping to flesh out some of the mystery, the overall goal is to provide an intermediary resource for people utilizing a classic module for their campaigns.

The Forgotten City of Al-Arin is a great example. Please visit the link above if you can spare a few moments. I'm compiling the posts into a PDF resource and would love to include a blurb about your module and a link to it. I can be contacted at oldschooljump(at)gmail(dot)com.

Best of luck in everything, and thanks again for putting together a great module and making it available via Dragonsfoot.

-S.
