iPhone
I like my iPhone very much, but there is a tendency for the silent switch to get switched accidentally. It's quite vulknerable really. What it needs is a small latex plug to block the path of the switch. Or the switch siting in a less exposed position.

Re: iPhone
You are not the first person to mention that. The iPhone 4 does have a more robust switch when compared with the 3G and 3GS!

Re: iPhone
Now in addition to the iPhone we get iTunes of course. This has to be the most horrible bit of programming I've seen for a long time. Basically it just doesn't work properly. How can it tell me it's finished synching and then suddenly pop up a box saying it can't synch the phone? How can it half uninstall bewteen two uses and decide it needs to re-install? How can it double up all the tracks in the music library?
We muddle through with it, but it ain't pretty!

Re: iPhone
I am not a great fan of iTunes but I don't ever get any of those problems. I would double check to see that you don't have some other sort of problem. Try an uninstall and re-install to see if that sorts the problems out.
I suppose I could make out it was some sort of conspiracy theory to make you buy Mac but I don't think making it rubbish actually helps either microsoft or apple.
