We are now running 3.1.1 the latest board software for the famous people at phpBB.com!

Hopefully everything went smoothly, please let me know if you find any bugs.

Take Care

It's narrower, does it have to be so?

Are you looking at the forum on your phone? It has a responsive design to automatically adjust to your computer type.

If you are on iOS 8 then you can request the desktop site by clicking on the address bar then the dragging down.

No, I'm looking on the PC.

Your image size for attachments is quite low at 250K, but that may not be significant for the uses the forum is put to?

I have increased the image sizes to 1mb and set at forum maximum uploads of 250mb.

I am a bit puzzled by the 'narrower' comment, could you post a screen grab?

Presumably ADAPS website by comparison fills the whole screen?

I have looked into it and there is a maximum width set on the standard forum 'theme' of 1152px. I suppose we could experiment with amending this value to see if it makes any difference.

Should I update your website so we can try it?

I almost never use 'full screen' windows on my mac.

By all means update mine. It's interesting because PU have revamped their forum and also stuck to a narrower width. I think this may be to do with making sure the site is readable on all platforms including mobile phones. If so, perhaps we should just accept it?

I have been pulled away from computers by the gals but I will try and update it later.

To be honest I think we should update ADAPS website too, doesn't seem to be any reason not to!

Go for it, because if we don't we'll become more vulnerable to hackers no doubt.
