Broadband speeds

It is really poor that I only recognised that I had a new post 7 months after it was posted. Doh.

Since our move to Sky Broadband the speeds have been terrible here. I really need to move somewhere else. Was thinking about BT Infinity but it is just soooo expensive.

Downloadspeed:1.787Mbps
Uploadspeed:0.837Mbps
I checked my internet speed test here ScanmySpeed.com .
Is this good or not?

It isn't too bad

I have just moved to sky broadband fibre.

Download 37.35Mbps
Upload 9.38Mbps

This is about 3 times faster than my O2 'normal' broadband. Since I live about 1 mile from the exchange I think that my figures are slightly better than the average.

That's pretty good Mike. I'm getting 8.20 Mb download and 0.64 Mb upload on my TalkTalk service.

My 4G phone can get up to 24 Mb download and 14 Mb upload depending on the network at the time.
