Sarcasm does indeed rock, but I tend to prefer Stephen Fry's type of sarcasm, not quite as overtly scathing as some. I hear some delicate people really, really don't like sarcasm, but fortunately I don't think I've met too many. If I have, I've not known them for that long...I wonder why?

On a side note, would I have the piss mercilessy taken out of me if I edit some links into the word-list post? Part of me thinks I should really be encouraging people to search for themselves.

By the way - the reason I am telling you is because you have to use a word a certain number of times (can't remember how many- can anyone else ??) before you remember it and I don't think I will have many opportunities to use the word 'hagiography'!!

I'll be sure to drop it in conversation to help you remember it. If I remember to.

I'm liking anemone today.

Anemone:
any of several types of small plant, wild or grown in gardens, with red, blue or white flowers.

And you also get those cool sea anemone thingies. I tend to use http://dictionary.cambridge.org for all my looky up stuff if you need an online reference.

Are we allowed words from different languages? If so, I'm going for Hosenbugler- it's German for 'trouser press'. I'm in Germany at the moment- such an ace language!
