In the film the guy makes a bet to make any girl fall in love with him in 10 days.
The gal is writing an article about how to lose a man in 10 days.
Needless to say it is a harmless romantic comedy which is barely watchable.

I agree, it is 'chick flick' personified. I like a good romantic comedy, emphasis on the 'comedy'. For me, this hit the lows with the ''love fern'' - sickening. It was gut-wrenching to say the least. The only funny bit in it was the ''your so vain, I bet you think this song is about you'' singing bit - but even then that went on too long!
It was lucky to get that.

Out of interest - if you hate romantic comedies as much as you seem to do, why did you bother watching any of it ??? :?

Probably for the same reason we all do: in the vague hope that the film was going to get better, then when the realisation dawns, it's too late! Either that or he didn't want to waste cinema money.
