The Village

Mike and I watched this last night- the film is based around an 'olde worlde' village who cannot leave because they are surrounded by forrests inhabited by monsters otherwise known as 'those we do not speak of'.

This film was made by the same guy who did the sixth sense and unbreakable. Although there was a suitable twist in the tale all in all it didn't live up to the sixth sense, and ended a bit aprubtly for me. Though it was reasonably entertaining- but I'm glad I didn't spend money going to see it at the cinema.

I think that the film really suffered from the lack of a real connection with the characters. It was all just abit hollow, things were alluded to but were then dropped without being fully explored. A rather shallow film with little interest or imagination. I would rate as
