Dude, the second photo is Stan and Gareth, not Stephan. Just though that should be clarified. God knows why I notice these things.

Just for extra fun and frolics: I've actually switched over to Firefox for a bit to see what all the fuss is about. Doing this has revealed that the hover tag thingies don't work properly (or, rather, differently) using this browser. Apparently, the tooltip (I think that's the proper name for it) should have its own title tag, distinct from the alt tag, which was only supposed to be for disabled access purposes. IE actually uses this where there isn't a title tag, but Firefox just ignores it. Yay. Something like:
<img src="http://www.michaelriley.org.uk/FunnyPic.gif" title="Mike being silly!" alt = "Picture of Mike being silly.">
I realise this would mean rewriting a load of html, but it's more a point of interest than me actually expecting it to be done.

i'm having to use firefox as well at the moment because dad is 'upgrading' the laptop's software for windows and internet explorer is out of action. it worked fine how it was, why can't he leave things alone? always tinkering, which is a nice way of saying screwing things up for no obvious reason
I came, I saw, I bought the T-shirt
The bonus is that Firefox is probably a bit more secure than Internet Explorer. I quite like the cleaner interface as well, so I may be sticking with it. We shall see...
Putting a new copy of windows in is pretty major tinkering, but it should only take about an hour to do.

I noticed that the alt tags do not display properly on FireFox. I will see if I can alter it but it is not really a priority yet! I am more interested in getting back online again at home.

The alt tags display as per web standards on Firefox (ie they don't), it's just IE is more accommodating when title tags aren't included (it uses the alt tag instead). It should be well down the old priority list, to be honest, just pointing it out for sheer pedanticness.
