Christmas Films
Christmas Films
To get everyone in the festive mood I'm interested to know what your all time favourite Christmas films are. I think the films that really get me in the festive mood are probably:
-Love Actually
-Sound of Music (reminds of Christmas Eve even in the middle of June !!)
-Wizard of Oz (A film that seemed to be on every Christmas throughout my childhood ).
- A Christmas Carol and or Oliver Twist (you can't beat a bit of Dickens over the Festive period)

I second Scrooged with Bill Murray - very funny. . . .
I don't think that I know of any more christmas fun filled films. I am supposing that the normal run of Bond etc are not really what you are looking for?!

I love the movie Elf with Will Ferrell!
One grown up elf and some juvenile mayhem, it's ace; which is funny cos I hate the juvenile mayhem that work throws at me!
Personal favourite moment: Elf downs a 2L bottle of Coke, burps for about a year and then says - incredulously - "DID YOU HEAR THAT?!!!!"
It's ok, i know i'm immature! :D

I always think of Watership Down for some reason, but it's not really that Christmassy. I suppose it has the death and rebirth theme going on, though.
Muppets Christmas Carol and Oliver Twist (the black and white one), definitely. Classics.

If it has a Santa Claus with a machine gun, Die Hard wins hands down.

Slightly off on a tangent, that's reminded me of a certain Weird Al Yankovic song: The Night Santa Went Crazy (live video). Okay, I'm done now.
