Canal Boat House

I saw a great article in the Metro today about a couple who built a canal barge house out of recycled materials. They took the move to get on the property ladder and it only cost them approximately ?100,000. With mooring charges in the centre of London being ?5200 per year they might be on a winner here.

Quite a lot of people own boats in the capital according to my neighbour who owns a boat.
