Maybe we should lobby the BBC to get rid of him. But what if they've filmed the whole series already? I'm secretly hoping along with Mike that they know everyone hates him and are just writing him in to torture him.

Oh, does anyone have it on tape? I missed most of the last episode because my parents/sister called.

I really enjoyed this episode. I thought that Sarah Jane Smith and Rose's discussions / mini-arguments were hilarious. It was great to see K9 again. They brought that in really well. I liked the fact that Giles from Buffy was the Headmaster - nice SF link. The special effects were good as was the storyline.
AND THEN WE GOT TO THE END AND IT MADE IT THE WORST EPISODE UNIVERSALLY POSSIBLE. Have they got researchers doing opinion polls? Have they asked the public what they think? They can't have. Otherwise, they'd have let him be eaten by the bin in the first episode.

I hope nothing happens to him because that means that he won't be in it much. I am looking forward to next week's episode with mixed emotions, hope, fear and dread.

Perhaps they have a superbly awful, utterly horrifying end for him that they didn't want to do to Rose....We can hope.

As for the three episodes to date, they continue to impress me. David tennant taking over has made no difference...it's just incredible TV.

I thought Mickey was very funny when he realised he was the tin dog.

But then I thought Jar Jar Binks was the best thing about the Phantom Menace.

tragically, i think jar jar binks was the best thing about the phantom menace. if i had ever really cared about those films i'd have burnt all my memorabilia on a big bonfire in the backyard. still love that geek's comment when he came out of the cinema after seeing it; 'i've wasted my life.'

lol, George Lucas still has a lot to answer for his mediocre attempts at parts I, II and III.

i don't think much of the original films either, they're good, well worth watching but the true success has to be measured via the creation of spaceballs! gimmie john candy as half-man half-dog anyday over...jar jar binks! a-ha that's where lucas got the idea from!

Be gads, the fellows correct! I particularly liked the hat worn by Mr. Vader. Very amusing. I wonder if the BBC could find it and present it to Mickey? Now that would be ace T.V.!

I liked this weeks episode. I thought that it was a good mix of humour and humanity in it. It also had a good pace for me - no bit felt laboured or too long I mean. Thank goodness the producers realised sense and kept Mickey's part down to a minimum! However, I was hoping he was going to die when he was being held captive.

I watched Doctor Who confidential afterwards and saw how they recreated certain scenes which was very interesting - the horse jumping through the glass was a montage of three seperate filmings! I also especially liked how the four times the Doctor sees the Madame Du'whatever' it is linked to the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn and then Winter when she is dead. I thought that was very clever indeed.

Shite, I missed this weeks episode again. Must catch the re-run tonight.

Ditto BBC3 Rocks.

The great thing about BBC3 in terms of Doctor Who is that in about three months after they have finished showing the series on BBC1, BBC3 will show it again! I have enjoyed watched numerous of Ecclestone time and time again thanks to ''Three!!!!!!!'' (*would have said that in a loud high voice if I could)
