£129.96, whatever. My phone is worth £15.39 or £17.70 in Argos! Now that is true value, owned for a million years and still maintaining 'classic' values. []

Actually, I posted in jest but when you look at the other newer Nokia phones that are worth about £0.47 I start to feel a little stupid. . . :???: Lol, my Newish N70 would only have been worth £25.03

Bummer. . . . are you going to get an iPhone as a replacement or just any old phone for the time being?

Apple Insider has issued a new story that supports what an O2 member of staff in Manchester told me. I was told that at 7:02 on Friday morning the iPhone would be available for purchase. The article goes further and lets us know that we will be able to sign up for and complete credit checks for the iPhone contract prior to the launch date so that only collection and activation are required on the day. The contract will not go live until the phone is collected and activated.

The other interesting rumour is that each shop will receive a 5000 unit supply to see them for a couple of months. Maybe supply will not be as much of a problem as I anticipate. Will still be in Manchester at 6:30 on Friday 11th to make sure I get my iPhone though! [-]

Available for pre-order from July 1 st - though not yet supported by O2 website! Oooh the tension, the suspense and the build up. I can't wait!

Rotary Phone app for the iPhone. Get the slow experience of an old rotary dial phone on your 21st century device! :-D

I got a new phone today-
Samsung m110 solid in black.
£30 from tesco, some sneaky unlocking using codes from the net and i was off! So far so good.
Its not quite an iphone... no music, no wifi, no 3g, no movies, no gps... it is waterproof tho!

It'll keep me going till my contract runs out at christmas then I can possibly join the iphone cult. I'll DEFINITELY go for the black iphone tho.

O2 has totally sold out of online iPhones and the Carphone Warehouse is all out of 16gb versions. I don't want an 8gb version so I will have to just wait. Maybe I can queue up all morning on Friday and get sacked! :-D

O2 have admitted that there is NO stock of 16gb iPhones yet in the company. If they don't have a 16gb version. Then I am not buying a device on Friday. They have two days to sort it out and fix the problem. They have, however, offered me one easy solution. The 16gb version will ONLY be in Black. We have a winner.

iPhone Shortage Ahoy with 200,000 expressions of interest and 13,000 orders per second once the website went live on Monday generated a huge demand for the new Phone, destroyed O2's website and has spread supply so thin over the country that only a few will be available in each shop on Friday. Will still try my luck but am not very hopeful now.

Not surprised that there's a shortage- The Times certainly seem enthusiastic.

Well if it's anywhere near as good as the iPod Touch I got last night then I'm not suprised...what a classy piece of kit! :-D

Just need to put all the albums I want on it now...cue several evenings of repetitive 'insert cd, copy, take out cd' action!
