She has been a little growler all night (well from about 2pm) and has been having fitful sleep (1hr on 1hr off sort of thing). Ms Lizzie is rather tired now so thank goodness it is a Bank Holiday Friday and I can look after the little baby until feeding time comes around again!

Hows the sleep going now?

The sleep is going well for me and hopefully okay for Lizzie when she can have a longer sleep in the mornings. I tend to sleep right throught the late night feed now and only tend to wake up at about 5-6 if the baby is being unsettled. Lizzie is probably better to tell you than I am!

Last night I got her down at 9ish no problems whatsoever and she slept right through to 1.30/2.00am. She was then awake at 5am for a feed, and slept again through till about 8.30am.
Feeling a bit sleep deprived today as a result- mainly because I stayed up after the baby went to bed

Lesson learnt there !!
As Mike mentioned- he slept through as I am a lovely wife who took the baby downstairs to feed so Mike didn't get disturbed.

9 straight hours sleep achieved two nights in a row- fingers crossed that this will continue
Although it does mean Millie will have to go in her own room now

It is quite impressive I must say. I hope that it continues.
On another note she was fascinated by CBeebies earlier. Although when I was leaving to go to work she was starting to get annoyed that these colourful characters were not responding when she tried to communicate with them! The ones that hang above her head on the play mat actually speak to her (sometimes - ie when Daddy is in a good mood!), there is Toby the Taperworm, Betty the Buzzy Bee, Frankie the Frog, Florence the Finch and Brown the Bear.

Millie was up at 5am this morning and just would not go back to sleep. Daddy came to the rescue and entertained her for a bit until she was tired and back in bed (by about 6:30 - which was just in time for me to get up and go to work. Hurray!).
I am pretty tired now and am off to see Mr Hibbert & Co later for a sit in the pub. Guess it will be a short ish one for me then!
