The interview was also shown as part of the pre-match programme, and very interesting it was as well.

would this be the same lesson we gave to chelsea in the semis and they passed onto you at the weekend? or would this be the lesson we gave them not many seasons back? i think you'll find head-to-head matches with milan stand in our favour...for the time being at least!

Neither your semi-final match against Chel$ki (which went all the way to penalties), nor Saturdays match could ever be described as a lesson in footballing excellence. That is reserved for the type of thumping we gave Roma and the away leg of the semi in Milan when they were far superior.

And the sort of performance Milan are going to put in on Wednesday!

What is the point in winning a semi final match 7-1 if you go on to play rubbish in the final? I may have shot myself in the foot here because they may not even be the same championship / competition!

OOOOOOOOOOOhh! Someone's a sore loser, Al?! You see i know Leeds are crap, i'm fine with it, and? Whereas YOU, you CARE!!! Correct me if i'm wrong but haven't MUFC got a lot to learn in the way of European greatness from Liverpool. if historical arguments are to be brought into play then we shouldn't just be referring to one game ago!!! btw, has anyone else been in Real Madrid's trophy room? (not a rhetorical Q.)

Sore loser? Nope...well not too sore...well alright I'm a very sore loser! Bloomin' Chel$ki. You'd have thought their owner would have turned up in something other than jeans to the FA Cup Final!

Then there was The Special One holding six fingers up to say how many trophies he'd won...well guess what, Fergie can't hold up 17 (if my memory is correct) fingers at the same time you silly, silly little man.

Ahhhh....I feel better for that! I'm looking forward to a good match on Wednesday, just as long as the result goes Milan's way. I can't be doing with the Scousers in my office being any more irritating than they already are...

yes, but mori hasn't had the time that fergie has, because let me remind you in the first four seasons of the scot at united he won jack-shit, plus i think the chelsea man deserves extra points for being such a damn funny interviewee.

Tis true, Fergie didn't start with immediate success, but then he didn't inherit a decent squad (Ron Atkinson was the manager before remember  ) and he didn't get handed a blank cheque to spend on players.

Al...you're just jealous that your club got bought by a shitbag from America who knows bugger all about "soccer" and is merely looking to spread about his debt! whereas Abromavich is a squillionaire and is trigger-happy with his wallet!!! And i bet it gauls you that Liverpool's been bought by a more much impressive outfit than Glazer. Those guys - whose names escape me - are not a pair of hicks!

And I'm sorry, i've got to doubt any man's ability to criticise Mourinho impartially. Even women who don't fancy him acknowledge he has that je ne said quoi!

Hey Al, want to go and see the original European Cup that you've won twice? Go to Anfield, it is on permanent display.

but not as many european titles as us, which lets face it is more impressive, not to mention more top-flight division titles from the days when you had to beat more than just 19 teams to win it.

simple fact - liverpool are the most successful british team ever

Claire, you know my feelings about the American Gimp and his hideous siblings and I shan't repeat them here in case there are children reading. Lets just say that the sooner the majority of the numpties who flock to the MegaStore on match days and sit in the over-priced seats realise that he's fleecing them left, right and centre to re-pay the stupid level of debt that he's placed the club under (none of it falls directly on the Glazers anymore .), the better.

Abramovich is only interested in Chelsea as a device to launder his ill-gotten gains from when he fleeced the Russians after privatisation. He'll get bored soon enough and find somewhere else to pour his money.

As for The Special One's allure over women, I couldn't possibly comment...now where's that grey hair-dye gone?

Can't argue with any of that. Would be nice if you'd at least make an effort to win the Premiership once though...

I saw it thanks, after we had won an unprecedented 3 top level trophies in one season.
