Enforced unpacking is never a happy occasion, but it was going to have to be done at some point. Reminds me of that problem with the header tank leaking we had. Water where it shouldn't be, in a house at least, is not pretty.
Good to see things moving along with the house Andy. Maybe we should start taking bets on what will happen first: Andy's bathroom, Claire's boiler or Liz's kitchen?

Well, if you'd voted for mine, your bets would be wasted money. After consideration and an ''honest'' workman - yes, there is one, he's called Norman (Don't take the piss, he's a nice guy) - we've decided to have it done but have it done properly - tiling, decent floor, the lot. He explained what he could do and why that would be ripping us off in the long run. It looks like it will happen some time after my holidays, so early August is a possibility or October half-term .... here's hoping.

That sounds good better to do one really good job than live with something which needs repairs every so often. I think the bets are still live though, we don't know how the others are doing!

Well, I've finally finished my entire quota after ploughing my way through the entire weekend. I finished at 10pm and have worked about 18 hours since Friday 3pm. Too damn long if you ask me. All that remains now is for me to fill in the final marking log and then I await the borderlining phase. I don't know if I will mark next year or not to be honest now - it is a fairly easy process but it is so unbelievably boring and you have to be unbelievably disciplined throughout the entire month but you end up with money (that is taxed) and that ain't a bad thing. However, it is a pain in the arris.
Good luck Claire, I shall be watching (and drinking during the summer) from afar!
