Max Mosely has been asked not to accompany Bernie Ecclestone to Bahrain as the Bahraini Royal Family would not like his presence there. . . he will take legal action against the people who were covertly filming him though lending support to the theory there is no smoke without fire . . . :-D

Alonso lays his cards on the table. Renault, improve or lose your world baby champion to a more competitive team.

? There is video evidence of him doing it! I'd call that a pretty big fire! No one is denying he did it. He just objects to being filmed! Its the details that make this story, he sat and had a cup of tea with them after they'd finished  how sweet.

Re: Alonso. I wonder who leaks all these stories, or whether he has the best press agent ever. We know about and discuss his every move ad nauseum (sp?). I agree that he always seems to be a bit (ok, a LOT) petulant, but you never seem to hear about it when anyone else isn't happy. However, his talent can't really be debated- he is a double world champ, that doesn't have to make him likeable. I just wish he'd get on with racing and deal with housekeeping behind closed doors.

I wasn't aware that Mr Mosely's father was none other than Oswald 'Leader of the British Union of Fascists' Mosely! Interesting given the supposed Nazi memorabilia / uniform aspect to the story!

BBC are reporting that Super Aguri have been forced to pull out of the 2008 championship due to a lack of funds. This has been taken with immediate effect and the team have been prevented from entering the paddock. Presumably because they were not paying their fee's etc. :-(

I have no idea on the rules regarding this, but I'm guessing that means that we'll be a team short for the rest of the season and they can't rejoin later on?

Not sure to be honest. I expect that they have withdrawn and therefore can not compete again until 2009.

By the sounds of it, the Super Aguri team no longer exists. I think the phenominal costs associated with providing a F1 team finally caught up with the organisation. There's also something about their deal with Honda to supply engines, chassis etc being forced to change through a rule amendment which I think would increase their costs again.

Massa has won the Turkish Grand Prix today with Lewis coming in second. This has cut Raikonnen's lead to 7 points which is a good thing with Massa / Lewis in joint second with Massa ahead in the win count. Go Lewis! :-D

Magney-Cours will be dropped from the 2009 F1 calendar because of inaccessibility. They are thinking of using a Paris venue instead in 2010, so no French GP next year. Bummer, I always quite like that course. :-(

I am led to believe that the drivers aren't too bothered about it because of tax issues. Apparently, the French government tax the hell out of them for the ''work'' that they do. I think it was the French Grand Prix but I heard it a while back.

Great win for Lewis! Always love the Monaco grand prix, better still if it rains as it makes the race completely open.

Not seen it yet but saw the Yahoo! front page news feed. Doh! Never mind sounds like it is a worth while race to catch!
