"Lifestyle" doesn't really encompass architecture in it, although it does all depend how descriptive you want the forum names to be. If anything, it would make it sound like we were discussing interests or personal lifestyle choices in here. There's never going to be a perfect name, but the final decision lies with Mike, so I'm sure he'll take action when ready...

I've just thought of a great name for this Forum:
Architecture
Somehow having an Architect's website with no Architecture forum would seem very, very odd.
All we then need is for everyone to discuss Architecture in it....

I will take action eventually, if necessary! The reason for the thread is due to indecision on my part. There is no rush though to make a decision.

ARD is the new forum name.
Architecture, Research and Design. It comes from some of your suggestions above but does not take one particular suggestion! Thanks for your help people you have been an inspiration! :D

I hope Lizzie doesn't let you name any children, but least we get to make vague double entendres with the forum title. On the plus side, I don't care that much, and at least it's a bit more descriptive now.

i don't think it is, if anything it's even more mysterious than it was before - 'concept designs' would at least hint at the ideas within, but whatever, i already know what's in here so bugger it. thinking up what the letters might stand for was is a lot of fun though...if you have nothing else to do at this time in the morning that is.
