I am of to Chester tomorrow for the second round of Architecture thinggies. I am looking forward to the 12 hours of lectures and the fact that a very interesting lecture is scheduled for 4pm on Saturday. . . .

I think we will have to accost Alison MacKinder and see if we can get this time off to see the England Game.

Do you feel equipped enough with the rules of football to be able to explain the offside rule to Chrissie?

I'm sure some people deliberately play dumb when they hear "offside rule" mentioned. Not that Chrissie is a culprit, but I think some people don't want to understand for fear they'll be forced into watching football instead of shopping and other cool stuff.

:D We are back. It was a very, very hot weekend to be sat in a lecture theatre with 170 other people. The course was therefore easier this time with the lectures being reduced in length by about 30 mins on average. This meant there was a lot of time spent in the sun getting to know others on the course.

Obviously we went to the student union for a couple of nights but the beer was really poor so we decided to go to a pub called the warehouse instead. This was a much better pub and well worth a visit if you are ever drinking near chester university.

The traditional Liverpool - Manchester footy match went well but was very vicious. The players came off dreanched in blood, one guy broke his wrist and seriously sprained his ankle. Also Nick was fouled by a Liverpool player who was sent off after her went down and a high pitched shreek!

Fun stuff but I am glad to be back.

To our shame it was 6-3. The frustraiting thing was that their keeper was poor and we would have been able to score much easier if their defence had been worse!

I am finding the study group on the Thursday very useful and think I may have a go at answering an entire exam paper (March 2006) this weekend. Well donate as much time as possible to it and try and get a rough outline.

I find actually sitting and talking with friends about work productive as it is a comfortable, informal environment. Thanks guys!
