I think this just goes to show how complex the whole equation can be. Don't forget the USA will be a bigger market though, and also the rest of Europe and indeed the rest of the world. It might be necessary to calculate the world's total importing from China to give a new percentage for the UK.

If we all gave it all up and stopped buying these things the whole world economy would collapse, with dreadful human consequences, so I hope none of us feel too guilty! After all, both Mike and myself are using very old mobile phones....
