Who are you hurling insults at? What are you talking about????

Confused. 8)

I believe he is mocking the watchdog which found "canoodle" offensive. On the other hand, I take it the swear word bleeper isn't turned on? Hopefully I'll remember to watch it this evening as well. Anyone fancy phoning to remind me?

Who did you think I was insulting, you dork? I thought highlighting the watchdog of weeners at the beginning of the paragraph made it quite obvious who I was reffering to...though obviously not to someone of your mental lethargy...

Anyway, to more important things...

Episode: Dalek

That absolutely rocked! A great episode of drama, violence and even a little alien sympathy to cap off an enjoyable forty-five minutes and the best installment of the series so far. Okay, the Daleks are only scary if you are five, but the rundown rusty look it has to begin with really made it look half-decent...and we even got a glimpse of a cyberman if only his helmet - that was the director's porn cut obviously...

You guys might think I'm totally sad, but I don't care because I have to say that this episode had me totally engrossed and I just can't believe that they've managed to get so much out of the concept of both Doctor who and the Daleks. I might even have a definite thing about that Rose Tyler as well....

The one thing, believe it or not, I dreaded, was that at some point the Dalek would say something like "...............Rose...Tyler" and they only fell for it once and just about got away with it, but it was a tiny, tiny glitch in a superblt crafted episode.

Wow, can this get better? :D

I was also engrossed with the episode. I am going to even watch it a second time with Lizzie tonight. I very also very impressed with the special effects. They were very, very smooth.

I think I should change my vote to excellent. . . .

Well, having finally remembered to watch it, I wasn't disappointed. They should have used a giant bag to defeat it, though. Jolly good episode.

Very pleased to hear your approval, mr_e!

I forgot to ask, but was anyone irretrievably corrupted by the insidious use of the Word "canoodle"?

More information - Doctor Who is the highest rated show in viewing figures for Saturday evenings.

I did look into registering on the BARB website for viewing figures, but unfortunately didn't have the ?3,850.00 registration fee....

Sounds fairly reasonable to me. . . . BARB fee's or university fee's, everyone wants a fee. Talking of fee's I wonder if I could get away with charging for the use of forums . . . . .

I didn't even notice it in the dialogue and I was paying special attention for such a morally corrupting word at that, so I can only summerise that this watchdog has far too much time on its hands, which is saying something from a geek. Also I would like to know how and why it was allowed to see the episode before it was broadcast - I might not think much of what this group has to say, but I would certainly think of signing up with them if it means getting the inside scope on Doctor Who before the rest of you...just imagine, I could ruin every plotline for you weeks in advance of broadcast, now wouldn't that be fun?

You don't have a huge pool of registered users as it is, let alone scaring away those few poor souls that don't have anything better to do than visit this site with fears they would have to pay for airing their marginalised and deeper cynical views of the world...

The highlight of the dalek episode was without question the dumping of that idiot from Corronation St back with his mum lets hope thats the last we see of him and they drag him away and perform gross and painful experments on his head hole.

If they don't i sure he can make a good living in a bangkok brothel.....

just found out that in the new second series of the doc, not only will there be a new doctor (first proper introduction to be done for this year's christmas special after the few seconds we got at the end of series one), but both the cybermen and everyone's favourite robot doggy K9 will be putting in appearances. no sign of the master yet (series three?)
