3.45 am!? Surely there are other things to do, like sleep? Unless your place of work happens to be on half-term at the moment, in which case go for it. Although I would expect some crazy insomnia-induced literature at some point from you (your posts aside, that is).

I take it the new name is not a success?! It may have to change again then. . . .

You don't have to change it, it's just unfortunate that there are other dubious interpretations of the letters. Changing it to "Shiny & pretty things" would be cool, just for the sake of it. It's also quite descriptive.

don't bother just leave it how it is, after all 'i see change as a sign of impending death' to paraphrase woody allen, so don't change it again or the whole forum could die...or become a nervous jewish film-maker or something...

Impending death. . . . oh dear - that must be quite worrying

Hmmmmm, for a blonde bimbo possibly.

Okay then: tell me what's been posted in this forum area that isn't either shiny or pretty (or a cunning combination of both). I expect the list to be short.

Can we have back your original female avatar please mr_e?

What!? You mean a shotgun-toting Keira Knightley isn't good enough? I'll change it back for this week, just because I can.
Edit: have you only just noticed, or has it gradually grown to disturb you? And would you consider swapping yours for Keira for a week?

Thank you so much, mr_e. Remind me what the original painting is, I must get a copy.

Er...possibly "Nymphes et Satyre" by Bouguereau, if memory serves. My avatar is but a small detail of the painting, however.

Thanks, I do remember. I'll look it up and get a copy. I like images and sometimes one really hits home and appeals. This is one of them and I had meant to ask you about it for some time.
It's timeless, unlke Keira, I'm sorry to say!

Who cares? That isn't the issue. It's a crap name.

O rly? At least it adds an element of randomness to the forums. I think it's quite a beautiful name. So full of life. *sobs gently into handkerchief*

it certainly makes for a whimisical wonderment at what the letters might stand for - Adonis Rogers Donkey, Antelope Run Dangerously, Another Ruined Day, Andy Rants Daily, etc. is this forum now a random home for day dreaming or the future of a beautiful beginning to unrestrained free-flowing thought? *wipes a tear of joy from the corner of his eye*
or is it just bollocks? *the hard fist of brutal reality connects with the soft face of spineless artisan floweriness*
