Excellent site! Despite my not exactly wholehearted support of the Iraq and certain other wars, the troops risking their lives out there get my absolute respect. It's nice to have a lot of the armed forces charity links collated there as well.
Edit for random stuff I see just as I log out of webmail:
chewing-gum based Darwin Awards candidate.

OMG how random! That must have been a bit of a shock to the system, especially considering it killed him!

New Years Eve Party at Englands highest peak are snowed in for 3 days. What a shame!
So long and thanks for all the fish. San Fransisco sea lions suddenly and mysteriously vanish.

UK Braced for more severe weather as the wind picks up and adds a wind chill to the low, low temperatures. In addition the Government steps in to ration gritting salt by 25% due to low supply (or low public funding).
PS It is currently -9 in Manchester and -17 at the North Pole and -22 in Scotland. OMG, it has been colder in the UK this week than in the heart of the arctic.
Compare the current weather to the 'Big Freeze' of 1963. No, this is not a Vicar of Dibley reference.

The winter of 1963 sounded worse, to be honest - 6ft snow drifts? Interesting story about having to break the ice in the school toilets, and six miles to get to work on foot in those conditions? That's some dedication.
I hate wind chill, if it's bad enough then people will end up with mild frostbite when walking into the wind.

Teenager needs protecting from UV light Vampire in disguise? I wonder if this is where the rumour Vampires were allergic to sunlight came from (in history that is).

Google to uncensor web viewing in China? I am sure you have all heard about this. Commendable in one sense (why would you want to censor porn from the internet for example - sarcasm font required) but it would have been more commendable if they had been gaining market share and making lots of money. As it is Google China is a shrinking business.
