I love the way he gives up on the commentary after the first couple of turns and resorts to the aforementioned manly screaming!

The clip of Shaun White winning the half-pipe was also freaking awesome. The skeleton bobsleigh wins on adrenaline factor though.

6 Music radio station to be canned? It would be a shame, I like 6 music.

BBC criticised for building projects being 10% over budget. Not unreasonable with refurbishment projects in my humble opinion.

Fun stuff from the winter olympics: how can you not admire Ghanaians for this stuff?. Although he was born in Glasgow.

Similar to the "Eric the Eel" story. Advisory notice: retro BBC page alert.

Exciting news as someone who is involved in a tiny way, but way too early to say if it will be successful or not. The names being mentioned are hugely successful businessmen but we've no idea if the glazer's will consider selling.

MUST have also signed a deal with the American Internet Strategy firm responsible for Barack Obama's hugely successful 'Obama for America' digital campaign. Big hitters indeed.

I saw that article on The Drum (advertising news site). Large organisation - nicely done. They must have been expensive though.

I expect so. I'm not privy to that kind of info.

Since the press release this morning we've had so many new members (8000+) that the site crashed.

LIverpool One has a new initiative where the waste food from restaurants within the development are processed into Bio Diesel for their cars. Nice idea, simple and useful. Every shopping centre should try this one.

Stirling Moss falls down a lift shaft in his home! Eeek. The lift was malfunctioning and stopped the floor above him. Pretty bad but still, who just walks into an empty lift shaft?!

I had to laugh at the quote they used in that Royal Mail article "...it could be limitless." No scaremongering going on there then. Not that junk mail's scary unless you have a phobia involving paper.

Funny you should say that. . . . I really do work in the wrong profession to avoid it though. Honestly mr_e I think that it is plotting its revenge, the piles of paper on my desk are getting bigger and bigger. I just can't cope any more. . . . . ;-) :-D
