Don't worry Mike, I'm totally understanding all! can't wait till the w/end, 12hours learning, 12hours drinking...12hours learning, 12hours drinking...12hours learning, 12hours drinking...12hours learning, 12hours drinking...hmm, sleeping? nah! studenthood at its finest, we have to cherish these last months of academia, after the final exams we can't blame the alcoholism on student culture

*takes a moment to look away from his pile of marking that is Y7 exams with tears in his eyes as he remembers his last months of academia and looks ahead at the next thirty years when some of these young kids will say ''you used to teach me!''

There is actually something they do in Russia (they even have a special name for it, the psychos), but they basically pace their drinking so they're continuously wasted over the course of a few days. If you didn't have those annoying lecture bits in between, that would be cool to try.

Why not? I have. It is an interesting and sobering thought I will have you know. However, if you want real fun, compare a knave to a foldable table because that is something that is seriously cool. Try it. You'd love it. Hours of fun and hilarity await you.

I found out from Alison that the rooms in chester come readilly equiped with bedding - phew! I am going to take toweling though it sounds silly but you need a familiar towel when you go on a long journey.

I have found out that you will need the JCT SBC 05 with Quantities for the weekend away. Sir Nick and I are going to the RIBA bookshop tomorrow lunch, does anyone else need or want a copy? Give me a ring if you do.

I always take a pillow with me as well - they are crap in most hotels and I like my pillow. A familiar towel is good - you just never know who had the room before you do you!

It hurts like putting neat vinegar on a popped blister. I am, however, well 'ard, so I can take it.

My sister has a blanket she's had since at least the age of four, and she still has it (despite it being full of holes now), so I can't really say you two are that bad, in all fairness.
