Glad it all went smoothly, and it wasn't as grim as it might've been. Will you be warning us what this very hot dish was, or was it labelled "very hot" and you just happened to miss it in your excitement? Reminds me of that chilli squid thing I had once.

Yay. I received confirmation from ARB that my registration has been concluded. I am now able to call myself an Architect without the rain of fire from the title protectors! :D Happy Days. Not only that but you can now find me on the online register. . .

Mike
Architect
BA(Hons), BArch, Dip Arch (?)

8)

PS Does anyone know what the RIBA Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture is boiled down to? Dip Arch? Dip Practice? Seems a weird one. . .

PPS I will shut up about it now. I think I have basked for long enough now. . . maybe.

Logic would lead us to DiPPA, or DiPPiA.

After giving the RIBA loads of hastle all week I think I am finally going to get my membership pack soon and the registration process will be over! It was supposed to be posted today which is a good sign.

On a side note I am note sure they will have noticed the hastle. I rang them every day a couple of times and they did not pick up once. I suppose they only really notices the one email I sent them at the beginning of the week. Doh, must try harder. :D

Interestingly all the New Architects admitted to the register in 2006 have been included in the Times today as a list. It is a little bit disappointing as all you get is a name and location. (personally I was hoping for a double page spread with photo's and article for each candidate! )

Never the less it seems like its all good. :D

Nick and Chrissie are taking their exams next week. Wanted to wish them both the very best of luck (though I am sure they don't need it!)

I am finally doing bookable experience for my part 3. So in a year or so I might be a real architect too.

Yeah, they don't need that much luck, but all the best anyways! I shall be there with support and beer if required...
