This is a film about an imaginary tale about the famous photographer Diane Arbus. She is a smothered assistant and wife who longs for the escape into adventure and oddity. To this end she becomes obsessed with a new neighbour who moves into the apartment above and wants to take his portrait.
It is an interesting story and very dramatic but you get the feeling that they ran with it slightly too long and were running out of things to do and say. All in all not too bad - keeps you interested and gets a .
PS It has Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr in the cast!

Re: FUR: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus
An absolutely superb film with the delectable Nicole Kidman in top form.
It's unusual in that it is a fictional portrait of a real person, although I do realise that's not the only thing unusual about it.
I found it quite delightful to watch and didn't find it too long at all. Just right in fact.
