AAAAHHHH!!! Our little iMac is becoming increasingly out of date!!

However, or white iMac still does everything we need it to (internet, itunes, handbrake and some VERY occasional MSOffice and photoshop stuff). So there's no REAL need for us to update... still want one of those tho!

Same situation really, my computer (even after two years) is quick and sufficiently powerful to do everything I need. Why change? Because I want too is not really a good answer (so I am told).

Apple retail stores are rumoured to be replacing their Windows based handheld tills with a customised iPod touch. I can see the appeal for this one on multiple levels

1 - look at how our hardware can be used in enterprise.
2 - get rid of an expensive bit of kit.
3 - up sales of pods!

ARRRRGH my apple mouse has stopped scrolling down. I have tried the usual to fix it but it just will not work. G**Da** it. Now I guess I will have to go out and buy one of those fangled new Apple Magic mouses. . . . Thank goodness for Christmas money (that I really should use to renew my mobile me account. Oh well.

Who said anything about Millie. I want one of those!

The only thing I miss about the Magic Mouse is they don't have the squeeze button!

gotomypc has been updated to include mac computers in its service. Woot? It does mean you can control your computer from any machine in the world. All it will cost you is £11.99 a month.

Virus Barrier X6 has been updated to take advantage of 64bit operating system snow leopard. I have literally just renewed my X5 subscription for 2 years so I will be waiting a while to upgrade (unless there is a free or nearly free option for the upgrade).
