Sue and I were in Manchester today, and if you've not been in yet then the Cathedral is quite an impressive building. Well worth a photographic visit, or just a visit! And its free....

I personally prefere the Northern Quarter of manchester to the cathedral area - the cathedral area is clean and precice whereas the Nothern Quarter is still a bit rough around the edges.
I especially like a hidden bar in the Jackson's Warehouse which is called Moon bar.
