BBC article wrote:This is the first in the UK where the robots will sort, label and dispense the drugs.
Wow, nothing could possibly go wrong here. That had better be some robust IT and robotics they're using.

Why not employ real nurses and porters that would inject money back into the local economy instead of giving it to some manufacturers that are probably based hundreds of miles away? I can only assume they think they'll recoup the staff costs over time.

BBC article on estimated and actual alcohol intake. Some people are regularly drinking now much per week? Looks like an increasing proportion of our taxes are going to be going on liver transplants in about fifteen years time.

Wooden Ship found in the foundations of the World Trade Centre. Apparently 300 years old it was used to extend the island into the Hudson river!

Apparently the extension was from Greenwich St. to West St. in the 1800s, and Battery Park City's an extension using the World Trade Centre's excavation debris as well. Didn't realise people were extending into the sea on that scale as early at that.

If the base unit maintains signal through brick walls that would be brilliant.

One for the people who watch motorsports partly for the crashes: brown alert for the marshalls. Got some good air there.

I like this guy's style (apart from the fact it was Corona and I felt it should have been a nice real ale and a possible advert for CAMRA but there you go...)

UK borrowing is larger than expected. Are all these cuts damaging the economy? It could be one of the first signs of a spiral! :-(

BrewDog are making headlines again... Dead animal beer bottles

I genuinely cannot decide if it's genious or a descent into madness, and that's just the bottles. Anyone know what they have to do to the beer to get it that strong? The price suggests quite a lot.

UK Film Council has been scrapped. This is a shame because they have funded some amazing British Films.

Man bricks up bank in protest to lack of funds. Apparently talking to banks is like talking to a brick wall. See what they did there?

How is Keith Richards still alive. How can you NOT read that headline?! Amazing story about the Rolling Stones member who gave up cocaine aged 62, not because it was illegal or dangerous but because he fell out of a tree whilst forraging for coconuts. Quality. :-D
