In the News
Re: In the News
North Korea consider sanctions an act of war!? I thought they were pretty much isolationist anyway. If it was some kind of "false flag" operation by S. Korea or a third party, which is what N. Korea are effectively claiming... bloody hell.
Interesting that paintings are often stolen to use as currency for criminals, but what's the good of a currency you're going to have difficulty liquidating?
And a warning for those visiting Australia who think kangaroos are cute: don't turn your back on them

Chinese Media are widely reporting that passionate kissing creates a pressure imbalance that can cause temporary (2 month) deafness. Subtly called the 'Kiss of Deaf' in the BBC article.

Eurozone debt and spending crisis in graphics by the BBC.
Net mortgate lending falls to £1.8bn in April. This might explain why the number of viewings of my house has fallen.

Who said North Korea know nothing about football? They were hinting at the truth as a striker is forced to play as a goalkeeper for the duration of the tournament.

Dawson's in and Gerrard is captain. How many references to Istanbul will we now get? I'm already sick of this World Cup and I'm a football fan!

Re: In the News
Hospital to use robots to control infection. This is the statement from the infection control nurse.
Surely the answer to your traditional problem is to have one person dealing with dirt and one with clean. Just like the new system but without robots. What a lame ass reason to try using robots - I bet this person does not have any friends.Nurse wrote:Traditionally clean and dirty tasks are carried out by the same person," infection control nurse Lesley Shepherd said.
"Here, you'll have the robots that do dirty tasks, so they may take dirty linen or clinical waste away, and you'll have robots that do clean tasks, such as bringing meals and clean linen to patients.
"They have separate lifts so there's no way they can cross, which is great."
