Sony are to close one of their two remaining CD processing plants. This is an indication that digital media downloads are reducing the need for traditional physical media. One of the most interesting facts in the article is that the first CD album released was Billy Joels '52nd Street'. Now that is an amazing album and also a world first! Who knew?!

Alabama shop trades guns for sex toys. An interesting headline and the article is even better - apparently you have to prove that your sex toy is for medical or educational purposes to buy in the state. That makes gun purchases easier by a long shot.
I guess that it means they think that selling sex toys to school, college and university students has a better morality than sales to consenting adults. Weird.
