A contact in the Isle of Man?

It's unlikely as requests go, but does anyone know anyone who is computer literate that lives in the Isle of Man?

The reason I ask is that I tried to order a CD from Hip-OSelect (yes, I know that's pretty unlikely as names go as well) and they don't list the UK as a delivery option, but they do list the Isle of Man. Don't worry, this strange lot are actually a division of Universal Records, so they are OK to deal with.

I have sent them an enquiry, but I thought someone in the hallowed and recognised Isle of Man might be able to achieve what presently I cannot!

I reckon if anyone can help, it has to be via Mike's Forum... :-)

yep- We've got friends there. They were at school with Bex and Al. I'll ask them if you give details about exactly what you need. (Cant see it being a huge problem- they're great :-D )

That's great - thanks for that. I'll just wait and see what the site says in response to the e-mail I've sent them and if they won't deal directly I'll let you have the details.

Much appreciated!

Thanks again for the offer, but sadly Hip-O Select have replied to my enquiry to say that at present they can only ship to North America, Alaska, Hawii, Puerto Rico, Guam and US Virgin Islands. You guys went to New York too soon!

Just for the record (no pun intended) the 2CD set I am after is "Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - The Motown Years".....

Either that or you actually ordered the CD too late!

...My brother will be in Canadia for the next 4weeks, then USA for 4 more. He may be able to help- he's staying in my aunties Winnabago in Canada. I'm fairly sure they have atleast got a POBox if not an actual address. Want me to check?

That would be very much appreciated, as long as they don't mind that they would have to place the order via the Internet. I don't know why a huge company like Universal has a web-only mechanism for purchases, but that's the way they do things.
