Impulsive nights out

Post by Mike »

Impulsive, off the cuff nights out are better than planned events. True or False?

As you might have guessed we had an impulsive night out yesterday, suffered today but the fun was worth it!

So... who's taking the blame for my wifes hangover? I got back at 1445 and she was JUST out of the shower! (Admittedly Beckys shower times suggest that she could have got up at 11 and had a 3hr shower!)

I like random nights out too by the way.

Alcohol is to blame. If companies did not sell it, the hangovers just would not exist. Personally I think the last person to post of this thread will be to blame (out of the four possible candidates that is)

Impulsive nights out are fab.

My best night out ever was at Uni and that was impulsive - at 9.45 me and Pinder decided to go out - we did a 1 mile sprint in 9 minutes with a can of Carling for a pit stop, after downing a 1/2 a bottle of £3 Bulgarian wine in 5 minutes in the front room, to get to the Venue. Once there me and Pinder danced the night away to a host of cheesy classics whilst drinking SnakeyB before staggering back at 3 in the morning from a party that we invited ourselves to. The morning after was a blur. The afternoon was hazy. The evening was pretty bad as well. Still, looking back, I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Spontaneous nights out can have such a good vibe, so I've voted Impulsive!

I think you forgot to mention that the club last 'free' entry was at 10 which is why you sprinted all the way there. :-D

Nope, it was the Student Uni and they always used to shut entry at 10pm because of crowd control. It wasn't the biggest place and to hold over 1,000 meant that it was rocking most Friday nights. There used to be a lot of trouble when people turned up smacked out of their skulls from the ''happy hours'' in town so they put a curfew on the door. I forgot to mention that to get there we took a short-cut through the hospital grounds which we weren't supposed to. Oh the glorious memories.....

I knew it was something like that! It makes the sprint much more understandable! :-D

A well-organised night with some spontaneous moments is also good. A good game of poker, 2 platefuls of food, 6 cans of lager and 3 generous triples of spirits followed by Wii Olympics with much hilarity is excellent. All for £15 is fab!

Don't think I have ever played poker. It might be the wrong time to start learning (unless I want to loose lots of money - which I don't).

You can always just play for pennies (everyone has about six million of them in a jar somewhere), matches or buy some chips. Poker is a good laugh, haven't played for a bit now so probably can't remember all the bloomin' rules though.

I've never played either! Could be a chance for someone with experience to clear up! You could have enough matchsticks for this!

Very impressive, but does anyone else think the people who make things like that maybe need to get out a little more?
